TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions apply to online transactions only.

These conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a Consumer.

RETURNS POLICY

If you are not happy with your purchase please return the product within 7 days, and we will give you a refund as long as the item/items are returned in perfect condition and in their original packaging with all tags intact. We ask that all returns are sent via Recorded Delivery so that they can be tracked and signed for, therefore providing a small amount of insurance should they be lost or damaged. Please enclose the delivery note with your item and the reason for its return. We do not refund postage costs.

DEFINITIONS

"Buyer" means the Consumer who buys or agrees to buy Goods on this website from Courtney's Handbags.

"Goods" means all products listed on the order and the confirmation e-mail.

"Consumer" has the meaning given in section 12 Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977.

"Special Items" means any Goods that are not held in stock by Courtney's Handbags and are ordered and/or manufactured specifically for the buyer.

"Delivery" means the delivery of the Goods to the delivery address specified on the order.

RISK AND OWNERSHIP

The goods shall be at the Buyers risk once delivery has taken place. The buyer must take all reasonable care of the goods. Should the Goods be returned to Courtney's Handbags having been damaged while in the buyers care, the cost of such damage will be recovered from the Buyer.

Ownership of the Goods will only pass when cleared funds have been received from the Buyer, regardless of whether delivery has taken place.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

Our total liability in regard to the performance of this contract shall be limited to the value of the Goods.

Courtney's Handbags shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential losses, costs or expenses incurred or any consequential compensation arising out of the performance / non performance of this contact.

Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability which may not otherwise be limited or excluded under applicable law.

All contracts shall be governed by English Law.

Any order placed by the buyer and accepted by Courtney's Handbags is subject to the following terms and conditions.

A confirmation of your order will be sent automatically by e-mail and, unless you are notified to the contrary within 48 hours of this confirmation, the order will be deemed to be accepted by Courtney's Handbags.

Courtney's Handbags retains the right to refuse any order that is subject to an error on its website and will in these circumstances reimburse the Buyer in full.

Courtney's Handbags retains the right to investigate any order placed in this website that it suspects to be fraudulent. Any such order will not be delivered until it is proven that the order is bona fide. Should Courtney's Handbags be unable to prove that an order is bona fide or to contact the Buyer then monies will be refunded to the original card used to place the order and the order will be cancelled.

DESCRIPTION OF GOODS

The description of the goods will be specified within the confirmation email and it is the Buyers responsibility to check that the goods specified are as the Buyer intended to order.

All sizes given are approximate.

There may be certain items included in pictures or illustrations within this website which are not part of the actual product and are not included in the product description and are not part of the order.

PAYMENT

Full payment is required at the time the order is placed and Courtney's Handbags will collect the payment from your PayPal account or debit/credit card details supplied.

All Prices and Charges on this site are in the U.K. pound and include V.A.T. payable at the prevailing rate.

DELIVERY

Delivery will normally take place within 2 - 5 days of placing your order. However this is only an estimate and subject to our carriers normal terms of business.

Delivery will only be made to the delivery address specified on the original order.

Delivery will be deemed to have taken place when the Goods have been delivered to the agreed address (Courtney's Handbags do not need to satisfy themselves that the person accepting the delivery agreed address is authorised by the buyer to accept the goods).

FAULTY GOODS

Complaints relating to faulty Goods should be notified and goods returned within 7 days. It is the Buyer's responsibility to return the Goods accordingly within the 7 days. Notification emails should be sent to: sales@courtneyshandbags.co.uk

Where Goods are reported as faulty after delivery, we reserve the right to inspect the Goods and if found faulty the buyer will be refunded in full or a replacement dispatched. If the Goods are found to be faulty due to wear and tear, negligence or willful damage, Courtney's Handbags retains the right not to replace or refund the cost of the goods.

SPECIAL ORDERS

Goods that Courtney's Handbags have ordered and / or obtained specifically for the Buyer cannot be cancelled once the order has been accepted by Courtney's Handbags.

PRIVACY POLICY

We collect information from you when you purchase goods to enable us to process your order and also to be able to get in touch with you in the rare event of any problems. We shall not disclose this information to any third party.

When you buy goods from us you are given the option to opt in to our mailing list for new product information. This is strongly recommended as new products are added to this outlet regularly. We will only send you product information updates if you tick the new products information box.
